Village Bound Quilts (VBQ) is dedicated to creating original quilt patterns that are thoughtfully drafted for sewists of all skill levels. Designs are often influenced by mid-century modern aesthetics, favoring large-scale compositions, straight lines, and a limited color palette, creating a crisp, fresh feel with a nod to vintage. Periodically, VBQ produces modern, heirloom-quality textile goods that are beautiful and functional. Each piece is intentionally and lovingly created by hand with care and precision using high-quality cotton fibers and is intended to be used, washed, and well-loved.
Tiffany’s work and patterns are featured in various publications, in print and online: The Modern Quilt Guild, Make Modern Magazine, and Love Patchwork & Quilting, to name a few. She has collaborated with Windham Fabrics and Art Gallery Fabrics in various lookbooks, sharing patterns and creating quilts to promote designer fabric lines. She is an original contributor to the annual #SpookySeasonSampler held on Instagram. Her handmade textiles and quilt patterns can be found in the shop. Commissions are currently closed.
In 2021, Tiffany expanded her love for creating and reviewing quilt patterns by offering technical editing and ghostwriting to quilt pattern designers and businesses. More information about her process and services, including testimonials and how to request VBQ editing for your own projects, can be found on the tech editing page.
